Letter from the Pastor

Hello church family,

    I want to take a moment to thank you all for continuing to support the work of the church during this time when we are all called to shelter in place. It is through your contributions that the work of the ministry is able to be carried out.


    If you are sending your offering through the mail or if you are dropping it off at the church building, you are more than welcome to keep giving in this way. We have received offerings from many of you in this manner. The mail box is being checked every day and all of the offerings are being collected.


    However, if it is not convenient for you to give in this manner, we now have another option for you. You are now able to give through our church website. If you do not want to send in a check you may go to our church website at http://www.fbcmesquite.org click on the giving tab at the top of the page, and it will take you to a window that will allow you to give online. It will also give you the opportunity to give once or on a recurring basis. It is completely up to you. A direct link to the abundant website can be found here.


    If, for some reason, you are not in a place where you can access our website then you can also give via text message from your mobile phone. If you decide to give in this way, all you need to do is text the word seekfirst to the number 73256. It will then give you a link to go to in order to complete your gift.


    I certainly hope this will make giving to our church more convenient for some of you. I continue to miss seeing you all in person and hope to see you tomorrow in our Wednesday night study through Zoom. I will be sending out a link tomorrow that you can use to connect to that meeting.
