When are the Services?

Services are on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m.  If you would like to attend one of our Sunday School classes, they begin at 9:15 a.m

How do I get to Church? 

FBC Mesquite is located at, 127 E. Kimbrough near the intersection of Kimbrough and Belt Line Road in Mesquite, TX.

What about the Children?

During the Sunday School hour the children meet on the 1st floor of the Children's Building.  They will be greeted at the Sunday School office and assigned to a class.  When class is over, preschoolers are escorted to Children's church, located on the 1st floor of the Children's Building. Children in grades 1-6 are released for morning worship. 
The Nursery is also open for children 6 and under. It is located on the 1st floor of the Children's Building.  Parents will need to fill out a information sheet and leave their cell phone number in the event the nursery workers feel the need to contact you.

What should I wear?

We want you to feel comfortable. After all, we are thrilled that you're joining us and want you to be more focused on the service than what you're wearing. It's not uncommon to see people wearing jeans or sundresses. Others prefer to still put on their "Sunday best," and that's fine too! We think you'll fit in no matter how you dress.

Where should I park?

There are parking lots in the front and back of the building.  The front doors face E Kimbrough Street.  The Children's Building is located at the back parking lot which faces Whataburger. You may park in any available spot; there is no reserved parking. However, the side parking lot at Beltline and E Kimbrough by the church sign, is reserved for visitors and senior adults. ​

Am I expected to put money in the offering?

If you are visiting with us, we don't expect you to put money in the offering, and you are welcome to just let it pass you by. If you consider FBC Mesquite your church home, we'd love for you to prayerfully consider giving. You can give by check or cash during the service, or you can mail your offering to the church office at 127 E. Kimbrough. Mesquite TX, 75149.

How to join ​The Church

The membership of FBC Mesquite consists of baptized believer's in the Lord Jesus Christ, who adhere to the Baptist Faith and Message.   While faith in Christ is the only biblical requirement for membership, it is our statement of faith that clarifies where we stand within the body of faith. If your desire is to place your membership at FBC Mesquite, you can begin with scheduling a meeting with our Pastor so that he can inform you about our ministries and help you get plugged in to the church.  You then may walk forward during the invitation time after the sermon at any morning worship service.  At that time the Pastor will present you for membership before the church.

Persons who feel led to join into the fellowship of FBC Mesquite may do so in one of the following ways:

1.  By profession of faith and for baptism according to the policies of this church. 
2.  By a transfer of letter from a sister church of like faith and practice.
