Vacation Bible School 2009 Sunday, June 28 - Thursday,July 2 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm Ages: 4 years old to 6th Grade Get ready to get swamped with fun at Crocodile Dock Vacation Bible School! This summer kids will experience an exciting adventure, and will discover God’s presence, power, love, life, and care. Crocodile Dock is buzzing with fun and action where kids will experience Bible stories in a hands-on way, make crafts, have fun at Gator Games, meet Chadder Chipmunk, and come together for Firefly Finale. Kids will also learn to look for God Sightings – evidence that God is active in our everyday lives if we look for Him. Pick up a registration form in the Church Office.
	Thank a Soldier Sunday! In celebration of Independence Day, we are planning "Thank a Soldier" Sunday in the Preschool/Children's Department on June 29.  Preschool will be making posters to send to a soldier overseas and to present to our soldiers [past and present] here at FBC Mesquite.  Make sure your preschoolers are here.  We want as many handprints as possible on our posters! The Children's Sunday School will be writing "Thank You" letters that will be sent to soldiers through the "Thanks a Million" organization. We hope all children will come and be a part of this moving experience.
